[Highlight] Cade Cunningham with the best intentionally missed FT of all time
if that 3 had gone in this would’ve been an all time highlight
For decades to come
Which one, all time or decades?
God willing, there are many decades left in all time
Idk. Might’ve still been overshadowed by the Westbrook one
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5V-9OZvl1c more like a steven adams, but incredible
got a link?
If I were Cade I’d simply do this every time
He’s done this before:

It’s unironically a talent
Annnnnd the refs are blind as usual
Why are people impressed? Franz did it three times in a row on the previous possession. And his were from the 3 point line
Lol
this made me lol
The echos of his clanks can be heard two galaxies away.
Mid play too, not during a stoppage like this video
That was incredible. I’m so glad that AB was there with Duncan to contest the shot.
I wanted him to have fouled Duncan so bad but on no replay could I actually see any foul at all. Unreal contest. Has Black been really good this year or is it just on the odd occasion I tune into a Magic game?
Solid 6th man!
He’s been really good this year. Lots of breakaway dunks and good defensive plays. Has also been shooting much more.
I’m a homer but Black is an emerging star. He won’t be perennial all NBA or anything, but he is going to have a great career.
He’s been awesome. Either him or Tristan Da Silva have stepped up big in basically every game. Never at the same time, you get 1 or the other
He’s improved a lot. He’s driving a lot more and his shooting has improved as lot. He’s playing like he is 6’7” and he’s using his length on both ends of the floor. He and Da Silva are such a good duo off the bench
Pinpoint accuracy
BONK
It really was. Almost no one reacted, and it wasn’t a lane violation.
Cade did the same thing last year in a game. It’s almost like he knows what he’s doing.
He should focus that accuracy into making the clutch free throws instead
The entire Pistons team needs to focus on nothing but suicides and box outs for the next few training, I can’t believe they gave up like 4 consecutive O rebounds
pistons flair
Take it off bro
This one is better
Neither Cade nor Russ got the fans free Chick-Fil-A on purpose though like Boban did

Fucking legend!
It’s a better play overall but idk if the missed free throw was executed as well as it took more time off the clock.
Clock doesn’t start until a player touches the ball, so the speed of the miss makes no difference.
This is some Bullseye-level shit straight out of Marvel.
this is what wouldve happened on every shot if lonzo listened to the trolls who told him “just pass into the hoop lol” instead of improving his jumper
That’s honestly amazing
Nice thing to practice. Props to the defender on that 3 though, didn’t even blink on the rebound/pass out and made a great game-saving contest.
scared the shit outta me ngl
For real. I was not expecting it at all for some reason.
Really respect that from him tbh, that was cold
Pretty impressive
Clean
I must be getting old. No one’s mentioning Yao’s intentional free throw miss? https://youtu.be/ohHoK4-LeuY
That was my first thought too. Damn im getting old
Cade>>>
That was the best missed FT I think I’ve ever seen. Cade Cunningham knows a thing or two about missing free throws.
But only when they truly matter.
Almost a brillan Highlight with that 3
AB with solid defense on Robinson all night
I think the steven adams to russ one clears this easily
Hey they got a rebound
Wow I don’t think i could have done that on purpose trying it a million times
Sucks they were down 3, he could’ve had a good look at a 2 right there, everyone was frozen
If he would’ve made the prior free throw they would’ve been down 2. But alas.
god that would have been amazing
I’m surprised this tactic isn’t used more often when players intentionally miss.
Proper
I love how the blue really makes it impossible to see the orange ball, which in the case of watching a game of basketball, it something rather useful.
I’ve seen him do this before, he’s amazing at these
i wish he dribbled back and shot it himself
oh dang
L
If he had made the first free throw, this will be an easy shot for him to tie the game
I think the team is just struggling trying to bring everyone back from injury.
Am I imagining there being a rule change a while back that this was supposed to be a tech or something? I swear I remember something like it had to be somewhat of a shooting motion and you can’t just whip it at the rim lol
The reason this never happens is because the shooter is not to allowed to enter the paint before the ball touches Rim whereas everyone on the Block can cross cross their boundary on the release of the shot so it’s just all around unlikely no rule change
