Nah it’s the way you frame it in your comments. I know he’s semi inefficient and has a turnover problem (I’ve criticized it too) but it’s minor compared to his overall impact on the court if you watch us play. He’s averaging as many assists as made FG’s, if you assume that his assists score on 50% then it’s way closer than calling him an obvious shoot first

Elite offensive role player that can provide excellent spacing and is great at attacking the rim.

The Pistons don’t have anyone that’s even remotely close to Garland’s level tho + their style of play is way different than the Cavs. They’re kinda unique rn in the sense that they play like the Magic/Rockets (defense first, among the league leaders in rebounds and pain scoring, etc.) but they don’t have the multiple good shot creators that the Magic have with Bane/Wagner/Paolo and the Rockets have with Sengun and KD. It’s basically Cade or die because Duren is not quite ready for that role rn.
