[Highlight] Reed Sheppard with a filthy behind the back dribble and fadeaway jumper. He has 26 points and counting
The Tax Man is here to collect
Reed Sheppard’s nickname “The Tax Man” comes from his initials, I.R.S. (Isaiah Reed Sheppard)
Not gonna lie I had thought it was just a white boys are accountants joke. That’s a cool tidbit
Yeah, I’m only just learning this now, too.
that’s so fire i can’t even lie
IRS already goes hard. “Can’t escape the IRS”. “The IRS always gets its man”.
Hawk front office LOVED him. Compared passing on him to potentially passing on a franchise QB in the NFL lol. Only reason they didn’t take him is because of his fit with Trae I imagine.
You would need the defensive avengers to back them up lmao
😂😂
Rockets have the perfect team around guys like that. I think Reed is going to be really good
He’s also been playing great, impactful defense lately
Yeah Ime just needs to find the right lineups to put him in but at the end of the day they are just going to have to live with him getting hunted and scored on. It might very well turn in to one of those situations like a lot of other undersized guards where they live with their defense because of their offense.
He’s always going to be hunted on for his size but he’s got fantastic hands to make up for it to an extent, at the very least he puts in a ton of effort.
Trae I
I read that like Trae the First. Like he’s a king or pope.
Sir Rayford the Young, first of his name
Damn Kevin Durant is shorter and paler than I remember him to be.
Might have hallucinated his hairline being worse too but it seems to be just fine
Rockets fans need to give him time man he can be rlly good
Who would have guessed that the dude that averaged 12 MPG his rookie year needed a little bit of time to truly adjust to the NBA coming into his second year taking on a bigger role.
Dude he is flashing moves in this game that are curryesque, obviously don’t think he’s anything near that but man he’s showing realllll potential
The son of the chef
I don’t care what anyone says, I stand by having him second on my 2024 big board.
His shooting is on another level, he has a good handle and is a dog defensively despite being undersized. Offensive star in the making.
Who actually is first from this class so far? Buzelis? Castle?
At the time I had Topic, but his career has been completely derailed by injuries and now cancer.
That being said, I’d definitely say Sarr is first.
I still really like Buzelis. Sarr does that DeAndre Ayton thing where you sometimes have to double check whether he’s wearing airpods in game
Sarr does that DeAndre Ayton thing where you sometimes have to double check whether he’s wearing airpods in game
No clue what that means but Sarr has been balling all season long. The leap has been crazy. All this without a great PG to set him up.
Castle before he went down was truly impressive so far this season. 20/5/5 guy in the making.
Sarr
Sheppard’s better than both of those two
If this is who Reed shephard is, the league better hold off on this OKC ten year dynasty talk because Houston is a fucking problem.
I used to pray for times like this.
It is literally the preseason post FVV ACL dream hypothetical that Reed turns into a problem. It changes everything. You can see the team hoping he chucks it every time he touches it.
Look at that prance in this highlight after the bucket. That arms down hop is danger incarnate.
In the second qtr I was hoping he would take every shot. I was sitting there trying to send vibes to tell him to keep attacking.
Wemby existing already makes it a questionable prospect lol
We’ll talk Wemby when it’s time to talk Wemby. God willing he’s got an ACL and some support issues to talk about before that becomes a problem.
If he stays healthy and the spurs make smart decisions he won’t take the nba, he’ll take humanity.
Reminds me of CP3 move
He has the middy jumper down very similar to cp3
He’s actually so good. Warriors had to double him.
That fade and hangtime is CP3-esque
I was told he was a bust in his 2nd game this season.
Worse part is basing it off of a first game where it was against the best team of the league. And also having to defend one of the best free throw merchants.
Game 1 they wanted him drawn and quartered for playing poorly against SGA and the OKC’s #1 defense after barely playing all of last season.
Reed is my shepherd
this dude has ELITE off the dribble jump shots
Next Isiah Thomas fr?
White ohtani never stood a chance against black curry
