[Highlight] ESPN commentators burst out laughing at Draymond flop
Yea that’s a flop, but also a textbook offensive foul
Yeah. Both can be true. Still funny.
He fell like Kevin hart imitating Shaq lmao
Out of all the egregious s*** I’ve seen Draymond do this is by far one of the bigger nothing burgers.
that is literally the correct defensive play, if you just try your best to stand your ground theyre not gonna call the offensive foul unless you get ran over hard enough to potentially get injured
he oversold it so he still messed it up, but youre kinda supposed to fall down in that situation for your own safety and to let the refs see that theres was a foul
complaining about this is kinda like complaining about a player falling down while taking a charge, granted draymond did oversell it so its pretty funny
The guy acts like a complete and utter POS sometimes but I agree. This one’s just kinda funny.
Definitely. The laughter is correct becuase the way he dives is very funny
His feet were moving, it’s blocking.
You can have your feet moving and still be in a legal defensive position
Not when you’re trying to draw a charge.
Would love to see the rule you’re talking about
“the rule” they’re talking about changes from play to play.
if a commentator or fan likes an offensive foul call, the rule is “well, his feet were set/he was in a legal guarding position”
if a commentator or fan likes a blocking foul call, the rule is “he was still shuffling his feet/there was upper body contact”
You can still get a charge while feet are moving but it’s gotta be egregious by the offensive player. You can move your feet and still maintain legal positioning and it not be a blocking foul. Though i agree 100% this shouldn’t be a charge cause he is legit moving with him and the push by Sengun isn’t really that forceful and we see this like 80 times a game. He isnt over the top leaning.
This. I hate Draymond, but he had position. I thought feet were allowed to move if you were clearly in front of the defender like this.
Thank you for commenting to let people know
Textbook foul unless you are Giannis or Lebron
This got posted so fast
People will go far to shit on Draymond in this sub…what’d you expect?
He continues to make it so easy
Oh no, the consequences of his actions!
And he deserves every iota of it and then some
Haha, you have to cover for Dray’s pathetic moves. Must be an exhausting existence.
Has has to?
Put draymond anywhere else in the league and he becomes absolutely nothing. He needs curry healthy for him to be relevant.
And he deserves every bit of it
Imagine defending a dirty cunt
Thats a foul tho, thats a real hard bump from 250 pounds.
He sold it like he should.
Did u not watch Shaq? This is his whole career
People bitching about big men playing like big men
Yeah, wtf lmao. Shaq, Karl Malone, even Barkley. Bully ballers prime lol
and it’s one of the reasons people suggest he might not be as dominant or effective in todays game, because one of the things that made him so unstoppable was him being able to go through just anybody which today would often result in an offensive foul call.
Different rules from different era. Even then this would had been still called an offensive foul back then lol
Dumbest reply ever. Just because a player is smaller doesn’t mean you can’t back them down. Draymond sold it
I wouldnt consider getting a head start of two steps and turning your ass into the defender with all your momentum “backing down”. You clearly do, so whats the limit? Can LeBron sprint full speed across the court and then fly into the defender with his ass and its just “backing him down”? At that point strengh doesnt even matter its just momentum + mass.
Not as dumb as you calling this a back down? You can through your shoulder and elbow to somebody chest and call it a back down lol
You’ve never watched basketball ✅
I played basketball unlike you. You back down with your uppper back or your butt.
Nobody agreeing with you so must be the only person capable of watching basketball?
I played varsity 🤡
Your team must been ass if they got people on it that don’t know what a back down is. Blocking somebody is weak
Uh. No. As someone who watched it all live. No.
Dropped shoulder into a defender is an offensive foul, even if they aren’t set.
Though, he didn’t drop his shoulder. We watching the same thing? A flop. Is a flop. Is a flop.
Nephews never watched the Malone/Shaq era, soft
wait till you watch the bucks suns finals
Hey. Charges don’t apply to Giannis (neither do travels)
His feet were moving, no foul
Bruh
Sengun is soft as fuck I’m pretty sure my little brother could take a hit like that. And he’d 4’6 90lbs
I mean refs never call offensive fouls if the defender don’t fall. It’s an offensive foul. The flop didn’t impact the call
Feet not set, you back people up in basketball
Feet doesn’t have to be set on the ground for it to be an offensive foul. Refs rarely call it when it’s not the case tho.
How exactly is this flopping? He got absolutely trucked in this. What the fuck are people seeing here?
Bc he fell on purpose delayed? lol stumbled then decided he should safely fall to the ground
I thought he was a big stwong man 🥹
He got bounced with the contact, and then just as he’s landing his right foot completely “gives” under his own weight. If he wanted to stay standing he would’ve, but then ofc he would’ve gotten stunted on. Not sure if this is an offensive foul as his feet aren’t set and sengun made the contact with his back, but idk who knows with the rules these days.
Shaq probably did this move 1000 times in his career.
Crazy how this sub is biased against Draymond lol that was clearly a big hit and he went down because of it
Yes surely the commentators are in on the hate too! You can literally see the point at which he decided to embellish it lmao.
Can tell by he went from a stumble and made sure he hit the ground safely lol some coaches teach the sit down technique on flops
I mean his head does this funny thing falling so yea looks funny but his body just falls straight after the hit. I don’t see where he could possibly not fall.
It was an offensive foul and there’s nothing wrong with trying to take the charge, it just looked funny the way he got hit and then looked like he got hit again by a ghost as he was falling lol.
You’ve never played basketball
I definitely know you’ve never played basketball.
So “crazy” that people dislike a very unlikable guy, amirite?
Exaggerated but still a foul. Hartenstein earlier flopped real bad with no contact to the face.
Yeah this is embellished but not a flop. He’s selling an obvious offense foul which is different than flailing from minor contact
I always considered embellishing to be a type of flop
“Obvious foul call” ok
is it not? look at what Sengun did lol If Dray pulled the chair Sengun wouldve stumbled all the way back to Turkey.
Not in the restricted zone. Pretty straight forward call with current rules.

Dray is still shuffling his feet. Do I personally think Dray was established and it was an offensive foul despite minimal shuffling of feet? Yes. Does the league call it that way? Hell no.
In your example, PJ’s feet were set on the second bump, where the offensive foul was called
e: this thing happened at least 2 more times this game, and happens a lot every game. Every time it goes to review, they always call foul if defender feet not set
moral of story: if you’re gunna go for a charge instead of (1) staying on your feet and banging down low or (2) going up to contest, your feet better be set
He didn’t have to set his feet. he was guarding someone trying to post up. You can’t lower your shoulders to a defender.
exactly. when a guy gets called for a blocking foul, people say “well he was clearly moving his feet”
but when a guy draws a charge, people say “his feet were moving but he was in position”
the inconsistency is there with the fans about as much as thge refs lmao
If his feet moves him sideways into the offense then he wasn’t a position I guess. You can be in position and move your feet backwards or just moving without shifting left or right and the offense goes into you, that’s a charge. So like if you were backpadelling straight and someone runs straight into you, it should be a charge. Feet moving is generally used to determine if you got into position sideways
so you say. and you might be right.
on some calls.
but to refs and viewers, that logic apparently changes from play to play, based on whether people like the player and how it looks in slow motion (and slow motion replays, believe it or not, don’t always clearly show real-world balance and center of gravity)
Calls were all weird today across the games I watched lol
that’s the part that frustrates me as a viewer, the inconsistency. sure, some games are more physical from others. but i wish they’d have the decency to call each game the same way from start to finish
as it is, some players have 10x the leash of others.
Glad you posted that with the bullshit calls in the 4th. No consistency with these refs
shrug two world class flop artists can be a Key and Peele skit.
Flopper on flopper crime
Sengun smiling cause he know he got outsmarted by Draymond
This ain’t that bad compared to the OKC one
I mean this is not that egregious nor that funny. But ‘Draymond’, right? 😂
I mean flopper on flopper action, who cares.
It’s just good basketball. Expecting lowering shoulder and falling regardless. All refs see is sengun going into him
Honestly that’s a good flop. Used the momentum to knock himself over and just kind of crumpled. Compare that to the guys who launch themselves.
Nah, the problem was that it was 2 parts. He absorbs the initial hit, keeps his balance, and then flops to go down.
Flopping is ruining the NBA. Say no to flopping.
They also analyzed the flop stage by stage at length.
Dray a hoe
RJ saying proud of you big guy; meanwhile Dray falling down like a toddler still finding his balance
2 floppers, can’t side with either one
“Draymond I love ya brother”
They’re scared they will be attacked by Draymond the Brute
Should’ve had this team call OKC/Wolves game lol
“Did he hit the tip of his nose?” STFU Doris
To be fair, I think they are laughing more at the way he flopped than the flop/offensive foul itself.
I lobe how NBA insiders just laugh at everything he does. Oh silly Draymond over there choking and stepping on some dude. Love that guy.
How tf is this a flop LMFAO
He learned the technique from Según
This is billionaire laugh
Isn’t this equivalent to what we saw in the okc game?
I thought Hartenstein didn’t get hit in the face at all? This is more of a legitimate offensive foul that Draymond embellished.
This is absolutely a foul and a hilarious (and good)sell job and a funny reaction.
The many people commenting here and saying “it’s clearly a foul it’s just because it’s draymond it’s being posted about”just don’t know ball and are just draymond meat riders who feel the need to defend him for some reason (even though pretty much everyone agrees this is a clear OF.)
This comment is so confusing. Are you calling yourself a Draymond dick rider?
This happened, Rockets won two challenges, Warriors lost one, and Warriors were still getting the whistle at the end of the game.
The laughing makes this gold.
dear god people still going about the feet not set thing and upvoting it. there was no sliding in front of the defender he was in no way being late getting there. he was in legal guarding position and taking in head on. Sengun probably gave a tad bit more before going to his spin move and Dray sold it. Big men give extra with those elbows as well and sometimes u just have to sell it or you will just be a punching bag

Donkey is a single ply, fake ass, sac slapping, world stage level fútbol flopping, lame ass podcasting, coattail riding cunt.
Touch grass dude. Basketball isn’t that serious.
Imagine the Warriors broadcast on this play
I’m a certified warriors announcers hater so I went back, honestly it wasn’t that bad (by their standards at least) they just say draymond got to the spot as “he has a right to, and got run over”
Calls like that are 50⁄50, I’ve got no problems with it being called or no-call.
Anyway 5 seconds after the call they’re yapping and blowing smoke about random shit as usual lol
Imagine hating on a team so bad you criticize their announcers lmao
The warriors have been getting everything called (or not called) in their favor.
I fucking hate that team so much
0-5 in playoff series since 2015 and 10-20 record in those series? Yeah, Rox fans have many reasons to hate the Dubs. And, that’s not even counting how obnoxious Draymond is.
It’s probably because Steph isn’t with UnderArmor anymore. Nike’s trying to bribe him.
That flagrant was beyond idiotic
Contact to the head/neck area is automatically a flagrant the majority of the time.
Hit on the face on the way up, then the neck on the way down? Textbook flagrant 1
😂 👌🏻
“Textbook”, go to bed lil bro
Your team has been getting sent to bed for 10 years now.
