Long term effects from that nerve damage include numbness, pain, and weakness in the shoulder. Kid had the talent, but his body betrayed him.

When you look at it in its full context, yes. He had an excellent start but then quickly fell off. He had 9 seasons, but only played 8, and 4 of which were really bad - whether it be cause of bad health, mental alludes, you name it
