[Highlight] Russell Westbrook with the clutch fadeaway baseline jumper one leg, and DeMar DeRozan banks in the jumper And-1 to seal the win for the Kings (with replays)
That’s my goat
And my goat too!
And my axe!
Not my goat, but I appreciate Demar for his time here. The man is beloved.
GOAT. Light the beam.
In what world could you ever truly consider starting Dennis Schroeder over Russ?
FIBA
Darvin Scam
apparently if you’re Doug Christie it would take you about 12 games to reconsider
Shroeder spending his career running from Russ’ shadow
Feels like 2015 again🥹
Best TS% since 2017!
Nugs fans tried so hard to credit Russ’ TS last season to Jokic. Russ is currently shooting better than he did last season.
LET RUSS BE RUSS!
At this point Kings should really just follow that path. They can always tank but they need to get rid of those negative assets ASAP before getting some new prospects in.
I’m all in on Russ sticking around and leading the new prospects. I’d hate to see him traded at the deadline for a 2nd round pick. Extend that man!
Not for curry 😂
Always happy to see Russ shine

Glad to see Russell Westbrook doing well.
My belief is that Russell, like many players, needed a real coach throughout his career that helped facilitate the way he plays.
I mean he was solid for every one of his post OKC stops except for the Lakers who used him as an off ball 3pt shooter lol.
I mean not really if this is correct.

They downvoting facts lol. Russ did not play well with the lakers. It’s okay to say that
Cp3 and Beal got to sign with the teams they wanted in july and russ was bout to be on the couch 1 week before season tip off
Perhaps intentionally for teams. After all, Russ plays best with a chip on his shoulder.
You’re welcome
I’ve always believed in you MIT
Westbrook is the platonic ideal of a Kings player.
Uncs still got it. Jk lol
brodie
Most obvious L.
Shai is that you?
From the jersey itself to the number 18, just feels wrong.
TIL Russell Westbrook plays for the Sacramento Kings
Remember back in August this sub was convinced that Bruce Brown+Tim Hardaway+Cam Johnson is a better depth than Russ and Michael Porter Jr.
This is a weird comment to make when Denver were pretty clearly worse last year than this year despite having two of their starters out right now lol
Maybe last year’s Denver team was more talented on paper but they weren’t fitting at all for most of the year when a coach gets fired right before the playoffs things aren’t going too well
Not sure why there are so many “gotcha!” comments whenever Russ and MPJ have good games it’s how Giddey is obviously a talented player but also not what the Thunder needed to win
Pretty clearly huh. They have been ridiculously bad in crunchtime except maybe v Rockets. They have lotta crunchtime L coming up when AG is out and Cam isn’t a good defender as this sub give him credit to.
No shot you’re actually trying to argue 2024⁄25 Denver > 2025⁄26 Denver lol
This is one of the wildest takes I’ve seen on this sub
Sure last year they were better in crunchtime because they had to go to crunchtime every single game and weren’t getting any easy wins
Watch it then cause they are def worse than last season. They can’t push the pace. The new ones aren’t good defenders at all. Without AG, they are bound to lose either the corners or opp ace challenging jokic 1v1. They can’t push the pace this season as well.
I mean, it still is. Cam Johnson once he gets his shot back is a better defender, facilitator, and only a sliiiight downgrade on the 3pt shot. Bruce Brown is a good defender and has a respectable jumpshot, and Tim Hardaway is a walking momentum swing if he can get going, while being a passable defender.
I like Russ and MPJ as depth, they’re way more talented than Nuggets fans gave them credit for, but they carried a lot of downsides that aren’t ideal for a team like Denver.
Your passable defender just can’t defend at the end. Cam Johnson once get his shot back excuse is something I have never heard about with MPJ. Oh And 32yo BB of course has those characteristics based on who he was 4 years ago and not since he left Denver.
I mean, he did fine this game and the last several games the Nuggets have played lol, he isn’t elite by any means though. Cam Johnson also still has his defense, size, and was actually pretty good this game. Bruce Brown also still hustles and plays good defense, as he’s demonstrated the last several games.
They are better depth. Russ and MPJ just aren’t good fits on the Nuggets, their games carry too many issues that isn’t covered by the rest of Denver in the years they did play.
Let’s see then. Cause I’m pretty sure Cam Johnson would become the weak link in come playoffs. The fact that Bruce Brown playing over him in some crunchtime is some writing on the wall some jokic/nuggets fans won’t admit.
I can’t fully speak on why he’s struggling, but he has four years of shooting over 39% that isn’t just magically forgotten. Unless you mean to tell me that having wide open threes from Jokic’s passing is somehow a detriment to his scoring. I just don’t think this is anything but a cold spree of shooting. He’ll go up to his normality eventually, I think it’s a slow adaptation to a new system.
He’s struggling because of usage. Nuggets would love Russ back.
hell yeah Russ!
classic derozan whistle
Rocky shouldn’t have taunted him
I really want the oldhead Kings to turn things around.
How’s the big sneeze doing in sactown?
