[Russo] With that last rebound, Chris Paul now has 6,000 career rebounds. Paul is the only player in NBA history with at least 20,000 points, 12,000 assists and 6,000 rebounds.
Bron is only 404 assists away from entering that club
Was about to ask how far LeBron is from this
“only” lol
What ? It’s doable in this season lol
Bron has only 4 seasons with less than 400 total assists..
How many games did he play in those seasons though? Tbf it’s still doable even with the time he’s missed so far but you have to imagine he’ll miss at least a couple more games here and there too
If he averages his assist from last season (~8), he will need to play 50 games out of the 68 or so games remaining
How many APG did he average after the Luka trade? (Asking out of genuine curiosity, i have no agenda but i’m too lazy to look it up myself lol)
edit: there is no fucking way you guys are so sensitive that you downvoted a completely innocent question LMAO please grow up
Statmuse says 6.6 since the Utah Jazz game that Luka first played with the team
Hmm so at that rate still doable but with tighter margins
Still who cares it’s not like Bron has said anything about retiring at the end of this season so he has time
Yeah I think with next season he honestly ends up top 3 all time behind just Paul and Stockton.
If he plays 2 more years, then he could pass Paul for 2nd
Are you new here? People take questions as insults.
I mean you also shouldn’t be sensitive and care about downvotes but here we are.
I don’t care about them as in taking them personally, I just thought it was ridiculous that asking a question bothered people that much lmfao
Lakers fans are some of the most sensitive people lmao.
I mean if he doesn’t do it this year, he’ll do it next year, so it’s kind of a moot point. We’d know by now if LeBron was planning to retire after this season
You think he’d make a big deal out of it?
He’s always been so humble and hates attention.
Would be very out of character.
Very easy to achieve imo.
LeBron’s objective for this season is to:
Pass the ball to free throw merchants Luka and Austin and hopefully gets and-one’s everytime.
Get 10 points every game to keep the streak alive.
Guess he was also the only one with 5999 rebounds but I might be wrong
Hate this shit. 12K assists is the guardrail, not a few extra rebounds
Get that hate out of your heart my son
I mean if you go down to 10k assists, the only qualifying players are LeBron, CP3, and Russ* . And if you go down to 8k you only add Oscar and Harden. (If you go down to 17500 Points, you add Kidd, and 17500 and 10k Assists to add Magic).
It’s an elite group of players regardless of the exact cutoff.
Yep, so many get their panties in a twist over these kinds of things.
It IS a hell of an achievement.
Exactly my point. The rebound total is meaningless, post could be created anytime. Assist number is the incredible feat
The rebounds are doing literally nothing here. CP3 is the only player with 20000 points and 12000 assists, period.
Well, they’re just the excuse to post this as though it were a new stat
You good?
Make the post every rebound he sets from here on out
Lol right, only two other players has above 12k
It’s cherry picked stats, not a “club”. Bron’s right there and I just check Stockton who has way more assists, but 2k less rebounds
Yea it is a cherry picked stat.
It’s still awesome and incredible and even when LeBron gets there that means there are ONLY 2 players ever in the history of the league to do so.
The fact that it is a cherry picked stat does NOTHING to downplay how incredible it really is.
Don’t focus on it being a cherry picked stat, focus on all he’s done and I’m NOT a CP3 fan.
I just don’t understand why you’d bring the rebounds into this at all. CP3 is the only player with 20k points and 12k assists, the rebounds aren’t gating anything here— hell, there are only three players in NBA history with 12k career assists, and among those three players CP3 is second to Jason Kidd in rebounds
Damn I would’ve thought Jason Kidd cracked 20k but I also thought he averaged more than 12ppg
Despite finishing his career 3rd in 3 point makes, he was called Ason for a reason.
He’s had hell of a career, absolute HoF
People just be making up random stat milestones
If you’re the only the one in a a category, it seems noteworthy.
For comparison, there are only 3 players in history with 12k assists, Chris Paul, Jason Kidd, and John Stockton. Lebron could crack 12k in his career this season, and the next highest active player is Russ with just over 10k
The point god. Will always be glad I got to watch this man play
How far behind is Westbrook
How many spiders has he accidentally swallowed in his lifetime?
What an arbitrary stat line.
Until LeBron James Sr gets it
Was Paul not alone with 20k 12k and 5999?
Compiler
Westbrook soon?
2000 behind. He won’t even be given enough chances to get that many
Not with that attitude
3100 turnovers and 0 rings.
CP3 has the best Assist-Turnover ratio than anyone in league history.
That’s not a bad amount of turnovers for 12000 assists
