He’s projected in the 20s right now. I mean same way we got Clifford last draft, you figure something out and trade into the draft for a low teen/20s pick, you can make it happen.

And honestly each class is different, some lottery/late picks in this draft, would be top in another year. So loading up is better than just always having a FRP for every draft.

Sacramento played some of the worst defense I’ve ever seen in my life tonight. Hawks were able to get to the basket all night with very little resistance. They let Jalen Johnson do whatever the hell he wanted. He’d get a rebound on one end and go completely untouched until after he had already gathered for an easy layup on the other end.

Part of it is that we’ve gotten a pretty nice schedule since he’s been out.

1-3 with him, beating Orlando and losing to Toronto + OKC + Chicago. The OKC loss is expected, and the Chicago loss was during their 6-1 start so I’m not that upset with it. The Toronto loss was bad, but we also lost to them without Trae so I’m not sure how much that says about him. That plus the fact that we were learning how to incorporate a bunch of new pieces (KP, NAW, Jalen returning from injury) means I’m holding out judgement until we get a good sample once Trae gets back

6-2 with him out, but those wins have been Nets/Pacers/Orlando/Lakers without Reaves/Clips/Kings. Not the most impressive schedule (although the scale of the Lakers win is notable)
