Kuminga looked so much better during the start of the season when he was a cog making 0.5 decisions. Like I’m not even talking about his shooting at all. Shooting well from the corner will make him gel with the starters but without that, he would still get lots of mins just with his play.

On a serious note, couple of exaggerated takes here but we’re a pretty good defence but the difference between ours and OKCs is gargantuan.

They have point of attack defender in every position which are switchable in almost any scenario and they all work together like they’re are serpentine belt, interconnecting gears.

We really need to work on these offensive scheming, its very passive, weak willed, very little aggression not forcing fouls and using our specialities in size.

We should be forcing them to foul early every quarter trying to stop our bigs, a lot of baseline actions but we just like this pitter patter motion bullshit atm.

De’aaron is going to take a long time to get over his injury imo. He’s going to learn how to play with the team.

Main thing that annoyed me was Podziemski was constantly setting ridiculous moving screens. I’m talking like he’d shove the defender and then once contact was made, he would move in the direction that the defender was trying to take to get around him. They only called one illegal screen on him. I only watched some of the second half and he had 3 super obvious illegal screens in that time.

Spurs played bad but the 3rd quarter ref ball for the warriors gave them huge momentum. Wemby got mauled all game and no calls. I love everyone on this team and want them to succeed! HOWEVER, I am willing to bet a lot of money that if two of Castle, Fox and Harper can’t shoot above ~37% from 3 that trio is not lasting past next season.

Fox is ⁴⁄₁₆ (25%) from 3 in his last 3 games.

Castle is ²⁄₂₁ (<10%) in 5 games and shooting 25% on the season.

Our front office is not stupid enough to think a starting back court averaging <30% from 3 is going to win a ring in today’s NBA and neither does it make sense to surround Wemby with non-shooters.
