It has been a while since he played with expectations, he’s lower on the pecking order for offensive priority than he’s been at least since he went to Brooklyn, plus learning to play with Jokic seems like it would be a process with how much everyone is expected to cut around him (plus the fact he can get dudes the ball when it seems like he shouldn’t be able to, so have to be ready more than he is used to).

Considering his defense and he’s getting some assists I’m concerned but not worried. Nuggets are deep enough right now the team can give him time to work through his shit.

As a non-Nuggets fan, it seem fairly simple to me: nobody lets him touch the ball. Jokic is one of the greatest playmakers ever, but he’s made absolutely no effort to integrate Cam into the team’s offence. Murray isn’t any better. They don’t look at him, pass to him, let him touch or dribble it, nothing. So when they finally let him try something, his own team has already iced him out.

The entire game, he’s in the corner while Jokic runs actions with Braun and Gordon on the other side of the floor. He’s uninvolved and Jokic isn’t even attempting to help him get going. His first shot was a forced heavily contested 3 shortly before he was pulled from that quarter. He’s not a guy who can enter a game, not touch the ball for 20 minutes in real time and then bury a shot. A lot of players aren’t.

He did not look in his direction once in that Warriors game. And I’ve been interested in what Cam does so I’ve been watching and Jokic barely involves him. It’s okay to acknowledge Jokic isn’t perfect - he’s done a subpar job in getting Cam comfortable in their offence. A small handful of sparce C&S over a full game is not Jokic looking out for a struggling teammate.

Exactly. I think Jimmy was supposed to take the load off of Steph but these nights show thay they’re still way too reliant on Steph going off. Even that first game against Denver would’ve been an L if Steph didn’t go off in the 2nd half.

Podziemski has really been struggling last few games. I also noticed that the Warriors really struggled to finish at the rim even with some easy layups or offensive rebounds under the basket.

Post played great.

There was some fantastic ball movement at times from the young guys which I loved. Flashes of brilliance marred by the low fg%.

Draymond scoring kind of covered up the fact that everyone else except Post was really bad at finishing.
