Search for common bases with 1 mod you love and 2 open mods. Buy as many as you can. Ideally level ⁸¹⁄₈₂. Fracture them all. ¹⁄₄ of them will hit your fracture. Either sell the fractured base after you annul off 2 mods, or try to craft from there.

If you find any with 3 open mods you can afford, desecrate and fracture before you reveal. You then have a ¹⁄₃ chance to fracture your mod.

You can still desecrate and fracture items with 4 mods btw. You do omen of crystallization (either sinistral or dextral, the opposite of where your desired mod is) + essence of the abyss and then you can desecrate and fracture for a ¹⁄₃. Not always positive EV I imagine, but definetely worth it on higher value bases.

I’m not a crafter but I do flip.

I just run live searches on popular blue bases with good mods, homo greater slam it and move on. Always aim to keep an open prefix or suffix for more value.

I also kept a handful of active buy orders going for low quantity high resale value on the exchange. (Low-mid tier runes, level 12-14 skill/spirit gems etc)

Why play a game that’s about killing monsters for loot, and end up playing Market Simulator 2025?

Look, anyone can do anything they want, I aint trying to tell you how to have fun, just, how is sitting there flipping items for ‘profit’ a ‘fun’ activity?
I go to work to generated income, i come home to avoid anything like that.

So any of you also paly the stock market and generate actual income, or is it only a virtual activity?

Because they get enjoyment out of it. People do this in any game where there’s an economy to play with and an auction house.

Just because they aren’t blasting monsters doesn’t mean they’re not enjoying the game.

I’ve loved crafting this league. It’s really solid.

Same reason why cookie clicker is a fun game for some. Number go up. Except unlike cookie clicker, where number go up is all of it, Path of exile provides an excuse for big numbers as you can eventually turn it into a character, or a meme, or gambling.

I just love crafting and since the trialmaster counts my used chaos and vaal orbs it must be done in my hideout. Only these get counted.

I wanna be in the Hideout club, solely for the purpose of makin more currency. But right now, don’t have merchant stash tabs that can enable shoping option. A lot of times, i’ve found decent or pretty solid items with bases, but i had to look at them with happy tears and the look of regret in my eyes….

I would like to start a discussion among “Hideout Warriors”. What are some tactics and searches you execute to justify being a Hideout Warrior. Lets do some brainstorming together and share some wisdom!
