Me too!! Conversation in response to all of these quick hit posts is dwindling. My engagement with the sub has gone way down and my scrolling has gone way up. I get that that’s what Reddit kinda wants (scroll addicted slop watchers) but hopefully not what our particular community wants!!

I really just want to open up daily discussion and chat from time to time. I also want there to be SOMETHING on here that defaults to new instead of popular

The daily discussion thread were the one place where the crackhead trade proposals, casual conversations, general thoughts, potential draft picks, and anything else under the sun that doesn’t necessarily need their own post. I lowkey miss that one guy from 2 or so years ago that kept saying that Payton Pritchard would be a starter by Christmas every day without end (until Christmas of course). I wonder if he’d be happy knowing that Pritchard probably is a starter right now

Last I heard the bot was broken. Would the mods here be opposed to someone throwing up a daily discussion thread manually in the meantime? I wouldn’t mind doing it but sometimes my posts don’t go through the mod filter right away so it might be better for someone else to do it that won’t get flagged as spam.
