Pritchard breaks it easily this year. Hell, he might make more than that from half court.
With him getting starting minutes and with Tatum out I think there’s a legitimate chance he could end up in the top 5 most 3s in a season
It’s also the reason we ultimately lost to the Knicks a team we were better than
I don’t think it was just the 3s. What I think happened was that they were so stymied and so locked down by the magic that once they felt that freedom to shoot in game 5 against Orlando, they kind of lost their heads. I think it felt so good to get open and shoot and have that avalanche happen that they got hooked and felt it was the start of a hot shooting streak. And it wasn’t.
And New York was not great on the perimeter so the Celtics just kept shooting and shooting. I also think Jaylen’s knee being cooked meant our best guy at bulldozing inside wasn’t able to penetrate and then KP being a useless corpse meant we had no interior game whatsoever.
I’m just exasperated that the other person responded the way they did.
Not sure if it’s just a Boston thing, not being from Boston, sports fiends and “alpha” energy and whatnot. Having been a fan for about 15 years, I’ve seen these sorts of responses consistently throughout the years … Is this guy larbrd33…

The J’s will juuust be on the backside of their prime next time there’s the possibility of changing this dumbass system and start taking a some high-percentage 2’s when they’re staring us in the face.
God I hate it so much. Joe is a top 3 personality, but I absolutely hate the system we run. Without being the most ridiculously stacked roster in the league, we do not have a chance at another title.
You have to have scoring diversity. Teams that can go in and get buckets inside or create by attacking is the way to win in the playoffs. Hoping for the law of averages to play out in your favor is foolish.
Edit: I shouldn’t even say “system” because our entire game plan is to let guys shoot 3’s. We used to have a real scheme that included drive & kick but even that’s gone by the wayside. There’s no strategy & no elite or sophisticated defensive strategies at play.
I think if magic lost the play in, we went up against hawks they less physical we would have beat the Knicks and made the finals. Knicks beat us because we were injured
