does this really work?
Yes you got to be able to get access to your hideout for the character that died though. For me it’s easy because I play on console, so I just go to main screen and put co-op on, load my 2nd character into hideout of my main character who died, then log off my main character. The 2nd character can go into the portal. It works but it is a bug and isn’t supposed to be possible. I assume GGG will fix this next league.

Yeah the only thing that sucks is if there are enemies around and your 2nd character isn’t leveled or can’t survive to pickup, but if it’s boss drop like this, it should work.

I don’t know the trick and sounds complicated. Is there a video that explains it? I know it doesn’t really sound complicated….but I’m retarded and don’t know how to party with my own character. Please elaborate for the dummies like myself.
If you have two characters who are both unlocked for endgame mapping at any level.
You need to be able to log in with two clients, so two PCs or any solution you can come up with I suppose. I think GGG allows two clients running at the same time on one machine…. I think.
Anyway, just party the two chars by using the char that died and left stuff in the map to invite the new one.

As long as you did not actively open any new maps the portal(s) to the dead map portals should now be there for the freshly added character.

It’s wild to me that an early access game has seasons.
It works in the ARPG space. Cook for a few months, major content + qol patch releases, make a fresh economy and introduce new mtx to fund the next season. On v0.1 release it was pretty barebones but has been improving for sure.

I enjoyed it yes, and got to start of red maps on my cyclone slayer but got bored. So decided to play poe 2 again, it’s not that deep.
why it’s so hard to understand for poe 1 community that it’s not an enjoyable game for everyone?
I’ve tried to go back two times in Phrecia and Mercs and it’s impossible especially if you like to play on pad like me. Not everyone is grinding these games for days, sometimes just some quality movement and combat system is enough to move on
