How do you not mention Game 7 in 2010 of the finals??

They blew a 10 point lead and lost to the Lakers. I can’t think of anything worst than that.

Nothing compares to 2010 game 7. They had that game won and couldn’t rebound for their life cuz perkins was hurt. Like almost 30 offensive rebounds in a game 7 final. 2023 game 7 against the heat is second. Tatum injury and brown disasterclass

Reggie Lewis and Len bias dying is my loss. I wanted to see them play in Boston forever, Reggie continuing his great community work, win a title together and compete for more like the Jays.

At the time, losing that Bucks game 5 in 2022 was absolutely crushing. I couldn’t believe they blew it.

The relay dunk on Jason Terry in 2012 made me question my love of the game

Instead we got lebron’d and didn’t get back to the finals until 2022

obviously game 7 of 2010 was heartbreaking, but the worst ive watched live was game 6 of round 2 this year. the dread i experienced was unlike anything i felt, especially since i live in new york

I was at the garden for LeBron’s game 6. I’ve never seen a performance like that in person before or after. He made it all look so easy. That also marked the last time I booed or jeered LeBron. The garden was electric and it had zero impact on him, so I figured what’s the difference, I’ll save my voice. These days I save my jeers for Pat Riley. One of my favorite moments was moving down towards the visitor tunnel at the end of the first round last year when we knocked them out. I was screaming all types of inappropriate stuff at him, and he shot me a look of disgust - I’ll take it!

Honestly I think game 2 of this years Knicks series. That was when the possibility of blowing the series became very real. It was so uncharacteristic of the Celtics in terms of losing two games like that in a row. And we all know what happened next….

Losing to the Lakers game 6 of the ‘85 Finals…was only 4 yo but it’s my earliest memory as a Celtics fan remembering my dad not being pleased at the loss to put it mildly🤪🤣

People say game 7 of 2010. But for me it’s game 6.

Not only did we get our asses kicked, but then KP went down and Big Baby got hurt (played through it in game 7). Immediately it was clear…the series was over.

Doesn’t scratch the surface of disappointing losses, but…I was at the game in 07 when Kobe was getting MVP chants in the Garden. Didn’t love that.

We started Delonte West, Gerald Green, Ryan Gomes, Al Jefferson and Kendrick Perkins. Scal had a big game off the bench.

Only been a fan since 23-24 season so its either between 25 Round 2 Game 4 (for obvious reasons) or the 2nd regular season game with the Cavs (which I went to watch). That one was entirely winnable but Pritchard had a stupid lane violation that cost the chance at a comeback.

2010 game 7 is definitely the worst knowing that team was getting old probably the last finals run.

Game 6 against LA in 85. We had such a great team. We had just come off of wipe Philly in the ECF 4 games to 1. The refs let LA play play without getting fouls called, and we couldn’t get our bearings back.

When Big Perk went down in the finals vs the fuggn lakers.. broke my heart.

Game seven in control, then Perkins got hurt, Ray Allen went icicle cold and those Lakers took the title. Still bugs me.
