[King] Jalen Bridges has been added to the Celtics summer league roster, I’ve been told, and will be going to camp with the team in the fall with a chance to make the roster. He played for Phoenix on a two-way contract as a rookie.

Anybody know anything about this guy? I’ve never heard of him

I unironically loved Bridges as a 2nd round prospect coming out. He’s not skilled enough to be some hidden superstar, but his blend of size and repeatable mechanics/touch from 3 definitely give him a path to NBA production.

Here’s hoping he can shake that stale nacho stink off from Phoenix and get run as a bench guy in Boston.

I had him in my top 45 for last year’s draft. I think he has some 3 and D potential while also being able to put the ball on the floor. We’ll see if he can make the team, I think he’s promising

6’8 24 year old, averaged 14.³⁄₅.⁷⁄₁.6 in the g-league. 39% from 3 on 7 attempts per game. Nice defensive instincts: 2 stocks with 2 fouls. Good awareness to switch on defense. Went undrafted last year.

Definitively someone in the running for a two-way or maybe minimum depending on his Summer League. But he’s not going to be handling the ball in Vegas.
