GGG What about micro currency stash tab in our incentory?
[removed]
It’s worse in POE2 tho. We don’t have portal scrolls, but we still have to carry wisdom scrolls and also all the crafting currency (transmutes, augs, regals, exalts, essences).
How’s that worse? That’s how it’s always been in PoE? A last epoch kind of crafting tab for basic stuff would be godsend but we wouldn’t be able to “feel the weight” properly.
I only use wisdoms and portals scrolls while in map in POE1. Everything else can be done in hideout because the crafting is not centered around picking up 100 different bases and slamming transmute\aug\regal\essence\whatever into them.
So I don’t have to carry entire crafting arsenal in my inventory.
EDIT: Well, not exactly, I carry some currency to craft my maps in early game in POE1, but later on you can bulk-craft your maps in advance.
It’s not like this in POE2. You are always supposed to slam your crafting currency into items you pick up from the ground. And you can’t really just stash all of them and craft later because inventory is too small.
I’m not sure if you’re talking about PoE right now cause in PoE2 the crafting is 100% based around picking up a bunch of bases and slamming shit.
*monkey paw curls*
POE2 now has a crafting tab
All the crafting materials weigh you down; the more you have, the slower you move.
Would still be faster than when affected by temp chains.
How is it worse when you have to carry all the same thing EXCEPT portal scroll?
You don’t have to carry crafting currency in POE 1 except the early game when you constantly have to upgrade your maps to magic\rare\corrupted rare to get the Atlas points for the completion.
After that you only need portal and wisdom scrolls because you bulk-roll your maps in advance.
Some of us craft on strongboxes.
Congratz you just described PoE 1 without portal scrolls!
It’s also shitty because every wisdom scroll that drops could have been literally anything of more value… their loot table is still utter crap, even if they improved the way IIR affects it.
Wisdom Scrolls need to fucking go.
I mean, suggestions like these get squashed for very good reason. Inventory space is a design choice and if GGG wanted to give you more space, they’d have done so already.
Giving you limited inventory space makes you have the choice on what you want to carry. If GGG allows you to basically have a shortcut to your stash, it invalidates that decision making process. It would be bad for the game.
Oh yeah I 100% agree, I don’t think the inventory system should change at all. Honestly I think having Sin identify all of your items was a bad choice compared to wisdom scrolls being the only way as well.
im play poe1 i think from 2.0 or something lika that.
I really hope GGG listens, maybe adding a few hundred thousand more people asking for the same stuff might make them listen this time and we also get it in PoE, right? Copium overdose time!
I honestly don’t see the need for it at all. It’s at most taking 3-4 squares in your inventory which is basically nothing
Lots of things you don’t need, Currency exchange for example, but it sure feels nice!
Those things are not at all comparable, the impact of being able to freely trade currency and fragments vs 3 1x1 spaces in your inventory is massive
The point I’m making isn’t that they’re the same, the point I’m making is that it’s nice to get things from GGG that isn’t based on having enough friction, but rather that you get because they accept that sometimes players want different things than they do. It’s nice to reach compromises, personally I hate filling up my inventory before going into a map in either game with anything more than a TP and an ID scroll. Is it a big deal? Absolutely not, is it still nice to see things get just a little better? Absolutely!
yes, ggg, I’m afraid we’re gonna have to incest
Does my family disgust you?
They taste better than they look! š
Uhh…what?
Blursed comment
Oh no š¤£
We wanted this for 10 years. They will only give qol after bad press, maybe 3.26 is the league we will get it. We waited so long lol they have to give something
we already have a perfect solution for that in the game, the poe1 affliction backpack (the inventory that titan currently has), all it needs is to be available for every class
I seriously considered starting a titan just for the extra bag slots…
Titan has a backpack to Affliction. I think these slots should be currency-only so you can only put currency in them. or in general, as in the picture, tied to certain types of currency.
maybe you seek a different goal, but my point is making inventory management not ancient, which the currency slots wouldn’t solve, since you still need a slot for an omen, maybe you like to keep 5 maps you’re running at a time, a tablet you want to use, some people also gemswap - all these things are fixed with the backpack
for example, I am currently using a mushroom from act3 quest to fully fill out 2 columns of inventory (together with the currency and omen I use) to dump everything I don’t need into a stash tab without thinking. Having slots only for currency would mean that I still have to constantly think about the one inventory slot my omen resides in not to dump it and get annoyed
Iām not sure why so many people are against this idea. Currently there is way too much friction in how we manage our inventory space. There is times I have to portal out of a map 3 or 4 times just to be able to keep picking up loot. Thatās not a good game mechanic, itās tedious and boring to constantly have to keep porting back to town.
Iām for having double the amount of player inventory space and a dedicated currency section. Iād gladly pay IRL money for it too.
This is why I will pick Titan as a farmer, that extra bag space is so great and feels so bad once you switch to a char that doesn’t have it xD
You can play Titan
It’s not a bad idea, but if they were to implement this (I doubt it), they should do it like this. (Trigger warning for passionate POE players!!!) They should then implement it like in Diablo 4. There’s too much different currency to implement small tabs like this in your inventory.
I want the “send to camp” option of baldurs gate 3
I miss it so much
Just limit it to 60 slot x number of portals and subtract the number of slots the item has from that total.
Same limitations far more quality of life
Agree, canāt live without a Portemonnaie, or at least give me a credit card.
But that would take away the drop dead gorgeous equipment menu background that the art design team worked so hard to bless us with. Sorry, Iām just a fan of the art because I havenāt played an ARPG with such a pretty menu.
I really want more inventory slots or something… I probably use 3 or 4 portals per map for crafting/trading.
Make them hotkey assignable. Craft those strongbox without opening inventory.
IMO Ever Ascendency should have the option to get the 15 slot lockbox. Small node attaching it should be something universal too Like 3% Life, Mana, ES.
There, you want more inventory space, take the nerf. Or for those people who really don’t know if/where to put those final 7⁄8 points.
Would be nice with a pouch or whatever for 4-6 1 slots specifically for the currency of your choice.
A āwalletā would be cool. And maybe a āreagentā bag or some shit for the rest of the single box item pickups.
would love to see this added. such a hassle to empty my inv after a few maps when im full of “crafting” maths. But if that would come i guess it would be behind a pay wall in this game :/
i donāt want this. all items should have to be held in your inventory. downvote away.
Next they’re gonna ask for another row in the inventory so we can stacks items more efficiently smh kids these days /s
Just make currency invetory and aoe pick up for currency.
it’s too much
what a trash design. please no. newbies came and started posting their erotic fantasies š what reddit has become. fashion and erotic fantasies with a request for qol
get THIS QoL
I want this for skill gems
Nah, I like that if you want to juice strongboxes/essences you need to make choices on how much inv space youll give up. Just straight up increasing our inv space for free should not happen.
Pick up one less item and that compensates the space you spend for currency.
I don’t see a choice to be made when I can just tp to the hideout once I find a strongbox, empty my inventory there, grab some needed stuff from my stash and go back.
The very idea that you make choices because of limited space is simply not true. Either you start to ignore a great amount of items altogether without even comparing them or you just take everything you could possibly use and waste time for tps.

Brother, that is a choice
It’s not a choice if you don’t even compare items anymore. You don’t chose, you pick up until you inv is full and ignore the rest from there. If something (potentially) meaningful happens to drop you empty you inv. You don’t compare and decide which one is better.
You don’t compare and decide which one is better.
I do. I rarely portal home to empry inv during a map. Unless its a mega juicer. I just start dropping rares and bases.
i love this, but if you say “stashtab” you imply pay to win, get ready for the downvotes
Bring in a pet that auto picks up gold
You are the pet that picks up gold for Faustus, if you really think about it…
Yeah, why not carry the entire stash in your inventory? Make that pescy item management that is a very clear and pretty good design decision, because it requires you to make choices on what you want to carry, useless overall. While we are at it, let’s remove every bit of friction and just hand everyone everthing they want from day one. /s
i had to scroll so far for the obligatory “friction” comment lol
doesn’t make it wrong in this case. too much convenience is not good.
No, it makes you wrong in this case.
No, it actually doesn’t.
Inventory space is as it is for a reason. You are supposed to make the conscious decision to sacrifice some of it, if you want the convenience of having currency with you, everywhere.
That’s also why you don’t have a shortcut to your map tab in your inventory, so you have to chose wether you want the inventory space or keep prerolled maps in there for more convenience to run maps faster in succession.
Players always want more QoL, not realizing that there often is a reason why not everything has as much quality of life in game design, because often quality of life eliminates choice.
Knowing how to handle your inventory space, knowing what to take with you in which scenario, knowing what to pick up, knowing what to leave, is also an element of skill expression in loot based games like PoE.
Donāt bend the knee to Reddit ggg
This would be a great idea, I would pay for it!
There is one slot missing for a orb of alchemy i believe.
i dont like the idea its paid for tbh, but wholly support it being in the game asap!
