I think Draymonds plays are significantly less risky simply because from a statistical standpoint, if they were actually more risky than those other plays they should’ve caused long term injuries to SOMEONE. I don’t buy that it’s just “dumb luck” that Draymond hasn’t injured someone for an extended period of time, he’s clearly flailing around in an unsportsmanlike way, but in a way that makes it hard to cause serious injury.

The potential risk for just contesting a transition dunk is orders of magnitude worse than anything you’ve listed here as dirty. For instance a mistimed contest can flip a player in the air and break their neck. And it would be almost impossible to tell if it was intentionally mistimed. Should we stop allowing transition contests because of the “potential risk”? Evaluating a play based on potential for serious injury is a slippery slope for removing every aspect of physicality in the game.

Somehow all of them kept playing the game.

It’s almost like their hypercompetitive world-class athletes. Who work very hard to compete.

That’s why they want draymond out because they know it means the Warriors stop being a contender.

The Warriors are more of a contender with Draymond out than with him in. You’re telling me you don’t think you could replace 9/6/5 on 29 minutes a game with the \(24M in cap space he takes up? On a Game where you needed him to play up to that \)100m contract your team gave him he gave you a deadly triple single on 29minutes and a -3.

Jaden McDaniels is making a million dollars less than Draymond. If you had him and we had Draymond, you’d have won this game tonight. I don’t think there’s a starting PF in the playoffs who would have lost you this game like he did. Chet, Aaron Gordon, Jackson Jr., Jabari Jmith all give you a better shot to win than with Draymond.

Maybe you lose with one of the Clipper’s or Laker’s guys a little worse, but at this point of his carrer Draymond is not the leader that he get’s the credit for.

You dont want to play the team in front of you, you want a weakened team to beat.

If I wanted a weakened team, I’d be cheering for complications with Steph and the perfect health for Draymond. I’m not. I hope Steph is fine and comes back 100% of Game 5 (and then we beat him anyway).

If Grason Allen or Dillon Brooks was doing what Draymond was doing I’d be calling for thier suspension too. But they’re not nearly as bad.
