[Highlight] Josh Minott with the beautiful acrobatic finger roll layup.
wolves got some of my favorite bench warmers in the league. Dilly, Shannon, Miller, Minott, Garza. G-League demons.
GOAT Human Victory Cigar Luka Garza
respect Jake Layman
Tbh I would but he was paid rotation guy money :/
Bro had the cleanest shooting form.
Victory CiGarza!
TSJ could probably get some actual minutes and look good.
I love to see him on the court. The dude hustles and makes plays. He has a bright future.
That possession he just dribbled around for 20 seconds and then ran into three defenders wasn’t very encouraging but who knows if that was just because it was garbage time
I didn’t read too much into it- garbage time, up by 20+ and you’re just looking to burn clock and walk out with the win.
A. It was garbage time. B. He ain’t bringing the ball up against a double team any time soon. It’ll be someone else’s hands.
They wouldn’t be warming the bench on many other teams, just a byproduct of depth and not enough minutes, not indicative of their talent
Eh, Shanon is up and coming but… they’re not lots of minutes guys either if you can help it.
Shannon Jr with some consistent burn next year will surprise some people, Dillingham was their swing for the fences but long term project they won’t rush him, Clark can be a quality bench player at the very least, and then Miller and Minott are essentially high upside fliers where if it pans out great and if they don’t they don’t lose a whole lot.
I can see Shannon and Clark with regular roles. The rest just far less likely without major improvements.
Still good to have them around.
I don’t disagree with you, the one thing I will say is let’s not forget that Dillingham is 20, Miller is 21, Minott is 22, Clark is 23, and Shannon Jr is 24. If anything it just brings more attention to the age old debate (only intensified now with NIL) about taking a one and done type in the draft (or in Miller’s case G League Ignite which no longer exists because of NIL) versus drafting more pro ready players who developed in college over the course of their careers.
I’m cautiously optimistic Minott is a quality 8th or 9th man if he gets his defense figured out. Seems to be an awareness issue and always closing out 1 too many steps. Both fixable.
They held their own pretty damn well through hospital month.
I like Garza. He came into the league as a back-to-the-basket throwback type of big man, but he’s been evolving. His footwork has gotten better (tbh, it still needs work) & he definitely needs to work on his shot- but he’s got hustle, and he’s smart/aware defensively. He’s just gotta keep working & improving to tighten up his game.
Big Garza fan too but he is absolutely not smart and aware defensively, he has a crazy deep offensive bag but is a complete liability on the other end of the floor. Think he would benefit a ton from going to a tanking team to get more reps in if we don’t resign him
What a smooth move by the young guy! That finger roll was silky clean and showed some serious touch around the rim. Wolves developing talent deep on the bench.
The Warriors are so cooked without curry we are getting Josh Minott Playoff clips
