Warriors always play the Rockets nearly perfect defensively. They didn’t send doubles at Sengun yet were still able to hedge and pack the paint when he had the ball. I’m not defending Sengun’s inefficiency, but he’s the only player on the Rockets who was a consistent/reliable offensive threat for all 7 games. Nobody else on the team (except Adams) was reliable.
For his first post-season, he stepped up for them big time.

One of the main reasons for Seguns inefficiency is because Draymond wasn’t let Sengun within 10 feet. Sengun within ten feet is a dangerous scoring threat, but outside 10 feet, his percentages drop dramatically. If he develops a good FT line jumper or gets a good three point percentage, he’ll be so dynamic, it will be tough to stop, close to Jokic offensively.
Warriors understand where players shoot from, so when Sengun was alone without Adams, it was easy defense when he had the ball, Dray didn’t let Sengun push him into the paint. Tougher with Adams because if it’s the normal lineup, no one else cold stop Sengun from getting deeper.
Draymond didn’t enough specifically to Sengun to lower his effectiveness which is what they want, to reduce efficiency.
