On choosing who they would want to play in a game of horse, Luka: “Steph.” Steph: “Luka.”
Damn, I thought they’d pick me
they ducking smoke big dawg
Lakers should of traded for this guy
Does he weigh 270?
They got another second round pick?
This guy is worth at least a Luka
Make HORSE part of NBA all star weekend. No prizes or awards, just bragging rights
They tried this already and it wasn’t good. Flopped kinda hard if I recall correctly.
The last one was during Covid and they did it virtually, the KD vs Rondo one was damn near just a spot up shooting competition that KD obviously won. I also remember another one where they tried trick shots, kept missing and it also turned into a spot up shooting contest lol. Luka vs Steph and I would throw in Trae Young would be exciting since they’re all great showmen.
And the Joker
Hope Steph knows how to ride a horse because you know all Jokic’s would be shit like hitting a hook shot mid steeplechase or somehow teaching the horse to jump backwards to hit a sweet fadeaway.
I feel like Luka and Curry would make it very entertaining
Luka and Curry attempting full court trick shots for 90 minutes will be more entertaining than an entire All Star Game
It needs to be casual and mic’d up.
I can actually get behind this.
Sounds like a better idea for edited content in video form. It obviously does sound really fun to watch them try to hit some trickshots, but in a live setting, i can see it being very tedious to get through one game. You want to see some difficult and entertaining shots, but the misses would be brutal to sit through.
But then again so was the All-Star Game.
I saw a video of one between Pete Maravich and George Gervin from the 70s, did that use to be a thing?
Forget part of all star weekend, just do this instead.
Is that the one with Rondo? Picking Rondo for a horse competition was a silly choice to begin with lol.
Didn’t Mike Conley when a game of horse against some other NBA players during Corona? Steph and Luka should do the same thing.
yeah. mike had a pretty good advantage too cause he’s actually ambidextrous with shooting, so he’d shoot with his ‘off’ hand every time he got to pick the shot
Another ambidextrous shooter, Rasheed Wallace…. I remember watching him shoot long range warmups with both hands equally well. There’s even a clip of him shooting threes with a ball on each hand at the same time, one slightly after the other so that the first could swish in a split-second before the second shot could bottom out the net.
These guys are on a different planet, talent-wise
See, this is the craftsmanship that keeps you around for decades in the NBA.
lol that’s kinda lame.
…do you understand how HORSE works?
The moment I see the word “horse”, i think of another european
Rob Brydon, right?
Surprised you didn’t go for this story
I did think of it, but I was worried about looking it up and the rabbit hole it would take me down. It’s a gateway video and I had things to do.
Ha yeah, it’s definitely a dangerous one to look up :)
I fucking love British panel shows
Adam silver: “no, we need to save more time for Kevin Hart”
Adam Silver needs to bring Lethal Shooter (and maybe Shawn Kemp, Ja Morant, & Gilbert Arenas) to All Star Weekend
He should just shoot Kevin Hart at mid court

Seabiscuit
Apparently they’re doing a pregame shootaround challenge thing today
Its not really anything that needs an announcer or host either. Just mic them up and let them talk shit and play a best of 5 game of horse.
I’d love watching them have fun and talk shit while also probably doing some freaky assed shooting
OK, the shots that bounce in after already going in are pure basketball smut.
I’d be down for a game of Horse between Luka and Steph at the All Star game
I know some other guy in the NBA who actually knows something about horses.
All-Star weekend horse tourney. . DO IT ADAM
You got it! Now to get as many sponsors and adverts in as possible 🤔🤔🤔
Wake up babe, Adam Silver’s latest idea to salvage all star wknd just dropped.
This would be a great All Star Game segment
I’m taking IGUODALA
They could make one hell of a Superbowl commercial by showing Jordan and Bird still playing horse, but then Luka and Steph walk in the gym and start one-upping them on the other side of the court, until they’re all in outer space shooting the ball off various moons. Steph finishes it with, “From the Ort Cloud.” and gets nothing but net.
I get it, superstar showing respect to superstar, but if you are purely talking about the ability to make shots against air, Steph is a great 1st pick but I’m not sure Luka is. He’s up there of course, but he’s not the 2nd best shooter in the league the way Steph is obviously the best.
Set it up!
