I think Luka certainly had a convincing argument last year, I think SGA has a convincing argument this year, I think last year Embiid 10000% would have won the MVP if he didn’t get injured as well, because he was tearing everyone a new asshole.

And even in other seasons that Jokic won, Giannis/Embiid was in the conversations.

Im not saying Jokic didnt deserve to win any of those MVPs, ofc he did, and he got loads of first place votes in all those years, but other players have put up phenomenal MVP-level seasons as well that saying 5 straight for Jokic only is a bit disingenous
