That’s basically some of our playoff lineups, but it DOES give us similar playsets for our bench as the starting lineup since AG is a versatile big in some ways the way Jokic is in the starting lineup. He can be a secondary ball handler/shot creator who can run a strong two man game with a guard.

With CB working fine at the 3 while Russ/Murray split duties as basically dual guard combos, it’s also given our starting lineup much more versatile playmaking options. I’ve been liking it a lot, but I do wish Malone would play with the idea of Watson moving up and giving a Murray/Russ/Watson/MPJ/Jokic lineup a look

Really the only reason he doesn’t come to mind as 6MOTY. Even looking at this post, kinda surprised that he isn’t starting

Mike at the 4 could be rough against some teams. Not most of them though.

I think the biggest thing it does it helps the non-Jokic minutes suck less. I could be wrong but since he’s come back the bench hasn’t been blowing leads nearly as much or by as much.

That and he’s jumped up to an 80% FT shooter compared to 65% last year. I no longer expect him to always miss 1 when he goes to the line.
